Thanks to Valeria Kuri, LDSC Executive Research Coordinator

Dear LDSC Community,

Since May, 2022, we have had the pleasure of working with Valeria Kuri (Windsor Law JD/MSW ’21). Valeria worked with us this summer as the Law, Disability & Social Change Project’s Executive Research Coordinator. She rejoined the Project in this new capacity after having worked as a Research Assistant for four years between 2017 – 2021 while completing her JD/MSW, and after articling in the area of disability rights law at Pooran Law. It’s been wonderful to welcome her back to the Law, Disability & Social Change Project.

Over the summer, Valeria’s contributions have been invaluable. She has completed a range of projects providing research as well as support to students in the LDSC team. Unfortunately, Valeria’s contract with us has come to a close, and I am writing to say a huge thank you to her for the amazing work that she has done.

This is not to say that we will not continue to see Valeria. She is an important member of the LDSC Advisory Council and will also continue to complete special projects from time to time. She will be at the Faculty of Law working on projects there as well.

Thank you, Valeria!!

All the best,

Laverne Jacobs
