Upcoming Webinar “At Risk and Overlooked: Children with Disabilities in Armed Conflict”

The Berkeley Law Center for Comparative Equality & Anti-Discrimination Law in collaboration with the Law, Disability & Social Change Project of the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law will host a webinar on protecting children with disabilities during armed conflict, featuring Emina Ćerimović, an associate director in the Disability Rights Division of Human Rights Watch. Emina leads the organization’s work on the protection of people with disabilities in situations of risk and humanitarian emergencies worldwide. She will give an overview of Human Rights Watch’s work on children impacted by armed conflict in the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Syria, and the Occupied Palestinian Territory.
